My Day on an Upper School Retreat
9:00 A.M.
Small Groups
Group to meet with WIN or AP teachers. Even when we’re far from campus we allow teachers to take time with students and incorporate everyday learning into our surroundings. This is a great time to check-in, review the day’s events and prepare for tomorrow’s itinerary.
10:30 A.M.
Activity Session
Students have the option to sign up for one of the four options each day: paintball, a beach trip, archery and marksmanship, or kayaking.
3:00 P.M.
Free Time
After arriving back to camp and eating a fueling lunch, students have free time to roam the camp and participate in fun water activities. Some of the options include: waterslides, kayaks, kneeboarding, a water blob, and the rock wall.
7:30 P.M.
Evening Worship Service
Directly after dinner students head to the Worship Center for an evening of prayer, reflection, and songs. It’s amazing to see our students open up throughout the week.
9:00 P.M.
Bonfire; Games
The night ends with community time to hang out by the bonfire, Smores, and games. Last minute basketball, volleyball, arcade games and snacks are available before the camp closes down for the night.
10:30 P.M.
Bedtime
Quiet time begins as students get ready for bedtime in their cabins.
